We signed Naomi up for swim lessons this summer and have continued them for the fall. She LOVES the pool and now says, "Friday Pool" whenever she sees anyone's swimsuit, swim diapers or just because she's excited about it. She's made quite a bit of progress lately too and actually kicks pretty well, does well going under water, falling in, and floating on her back. We're excited to see the progress she'll make this fall.

First Walk
We took our first walk out in our double jogger today. That is one big stroller, but it glides like a dream (as long as you're not going uphill or against the wind). It went well. After a couple of miles, I started feeling my gluts which was a nice feeling. Kinda hoping I'm a little sore tomorrow. Time to start getting my butt back in shape.
Of course, here are a couple of pics:
Olivia is so small that it looks like Naomi just has a little baby doll in the seat next to her.

iPhone Rewind - ChickFilA Fun
We go to ChickFilA on a fairly regular basis because they are so kid friendly. Here are some snaps of Bingo Night among other things. (Note: After 3 attempts at Bingo Night, Brian finally bingo'd once. Yay! One round of Trivia night yielded a consolation prize, so we'll take it).

Pregnancy Summary
Well, I really didn't blog this pregnancy like I did the last one, so here's a quick summary and a couple preggy pics (I didn't take many this time around).
First Trimester
I was definitely sicker this pregnancy. Since I was still carrying extra weight from Naomi, I was really trying to not gain too much this time. So, I didn't feed the nausea like I did last time and as a result, got sicker. I got a script for Zofran and that helped but I kept a strong gag reflex the whole time. Happily I gained very little, if any, weight at first.
Second Trimester
I felt great. I continued teaching Jazzercise. Started gaining a little weight, but not much. Still somewhat sick but not too much. Pretty much a good time.
Third trimester
I gained plenty of weight as baby grew and with it the awkwardly large, have to pee all the time stage set in. I switched to only teaching low impact Jazzercise. And, as we feared would happen, preeclampsia set in for this pregnancy as well. Luckily, it set in a little later in the pregnancy than last time and was more mild. I was able to do a sort of modified bed rest and still keep Naomi at home. The preeclampsia diagnosis also meant that I would have another c-section at about 38 weeks.
Well that about covers it.

Easter
Forgive the late posts, but I'm trying to get caught up on blogging. It just got away from me over the summer. So, I'll be posting a bunch of catch up stuff over the next couple weeks.
We had a great Easter filled with lots of fun family activities. It was fun to watch Naomi be more of an active participant in the whole "egg thing". :) Just a warning - picture overload on this post.
Saturday morning, we went to an egg hunt at a nearby church (not ours). She was a little overwhelmed, but enjoyed picking up and shaking the eggs and then throwing them back down. :)
Saturday afternoon, my MIL, Emily, came over to play with Naomi (and make sure Brian had back-up as he was on-call for work and I was at a baby shower - thanks!).
Sunday morning before church, she got her Easter basket from us.
Sunday morning at church, we met up with my Mom and Stepdad and she got her Easter basket from them - she left a wake of Easter grass behind her - cracked us up.
Sunday evening, my Dad and Stepmom came over and we did a little egg hunt. She gathered all her eggs and stuck them in "Busy Town" on her activity cube. Too funny.
That's it! Only took us 6 months to post. :) Ooops.
